Now Hiring: Marketing Director

Build marketing programs across multiple channels involving webinars, breakfast & lunch events, conferences, advertising, and more. Work as part of the business development team to build a robust sales pipeline. Track key marketing metrics and act on the information you collect. Build out a strong marketing team to hit our aggressive growth targets. Work with our R&D and new product/service teams to identify new opportunities, plug gaps, and pick new verticals to pursue.

Today, we have 30 people at offices in Toronto, Chicago, and Hyderabad. Tomorrow, we will have 500+ people at 15+ offices around the globe. We want you to help get us there. As Myplanet’s marketing director, you will help to build a sustainable growth engine through online and offline marketing efforts.

 

You will:

  • Build marketing programs across multiple channels involving webinars, breakfast & lunch events, conferences, advertising, and more.
  • Work as part of the business development team to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Track key marketing metrics and act on the information you collect.
  • Build out a strong marketing team to hit our aggressive growth targets.
  • Work with our R&D and new product/service teams to identify new opportunities, plug gaps, and pick new verticals to pursue.

 

Requirements:

  • Marketing Hero: You have run marketing programs for enterprise software products or services and know how it’s done. At least 3-5 years of industry experience is ideal.
  • This Space Rocks: You want to be part of a company that builds awesome web & mobile experiences for discerning customers.
  • The Nerd Factor: You read about the industry so much that you sometimes have to lie to your family about it. Hacker News, TechCrunch, Twitter, etc. are your lifeblood.
  • You Do: You can plan like a champ, but you’re more interested in executing quickly and iterating when you figure out what works.
  • Wise Sage: You know enough about our industry to be able to think broadly about marketing opportunities and narrow them down to a razor-focused list of activities that actually work.
  • Swiss Army Knife: You think nothing of jumping from conducting a webinar to running a lunch & learn to planning an advertising campaign to writing a case study. You do what needs to be done.
  • Data-Driven: You measure everything you do and use key metrics to make decisions.
  • Automaton: You automate wherever possible and can comfortably work your way around CRM or marketing automation software.
